the  obolus  presslogo

Ferrying artists and authors back from the 19th and early 20th centuries

where can i buy obolus press books?

You may find Obolus titles listed on Amazon, but they are sometimes out of stock or ridiculously overpriced. To avoid this frustration, order from aerio (United States and Canada), blackwell's (United Kingdom) or the book depository (rest of the world). There are direct links to these retailers on each book's web page.

The Obolus Press is distributed by Ingram in North America, by Gardners in the UK, and through the alibris for libraries program.

how do i place a wholesale order?

The publisher is pleased to offer bookstores, galleries, and museum shops a 50% discount on a minimum order of 20 units (these need not be all of the same title).

All orders are prepaid and non-returnable. You will be sent an electronic invoice for the full amount, and payments may be made in almost any currency by PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer (via IBAN).

You will pay for shipping, but the cost is reasonable since the Obolus Press is able to print and fill orders from warehouses in the United States, England, and Australia.

For a quote, send an e-mail with the details of your request (i.e., which books you would like and in what quantity) and the delivery address to:

may i have a review or desk copy?

No free copies are available. If you are in straitened circumstances, you could ask your library to purchase the book: give them the title, the name of the author, and the ISBN (you will find it in each book's description). Be sure to check your library's web site, since many will allow you to submit a recommendation online.
