Refund and Returns Policy

No returns. All sales are final. 

If a print book has gone missing or been damaged in transit we will — at our discretion — send you another copy or issue a refund, but we are a small operation and unable to deal with returns (especially not bulk returns from bookstores). Contact us here to initiate a refund. There are no refunds on e-books.

There is a link on each title’s page that you can use to read a preview, so please try before you buy; look for the manicule ☞ and click to see a sample from the book.

Since we ship all print books with both tracking and insurance, the danger of loss in transit is low. Porch pirates, however, are becoming a real problem — you should choose a safe delivery location. We will ship to post office boxes.


If your request for a refund has been approved, then a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If we have notified you of a refund but you have not received it yet, please contact your bank or credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
